ECCELLENTE In base a 38 recensioni Chris2023-06-14Verificata A very clean and comfortable apartment in a fantastic neighborhood. Lots of great restaurants very close by and easy to walk to all attractions in Bologna. Communication was excellent throughout and the host Arianna was very friendly and helpful. Check in/ out were very straightforward. WiFi would be useful but the apartment otherwise has everything you need including great aircon! Chris2023-06-06Verificata Good stay Irene2023-05-22Verificata Traveled as three young adults. Small, cozy apartment on the first floor, located on a quiet street just 15 minutes on foot from Piazza Maggiore (city centre) and 30 minutes, less if you use public transport, from Bologna Centrale train station. One comfortable double bed and one not so comfortable sofa-bed (the mattress was old and hard). Amenities could be better, given that the only thing in the house were 3 rolls of toilet paper and some hand soap. The apartment was clean and for the most part revovated, even though some drawers smelled funny. The Realkasa employee responsible for our apartment was friendly, helpful, spoke good English and kept contact with me in case I had any questions (Thank you Luigi!). Would overall recommend if you are looking for a small place to sleep and rest for a fair price. Elizabeth2023-05-06Verificata It was a wonderful stay and the apartment was very clean. Nice bathroom and Kitchen. Marta2023-04-17Verificata Perfect apartment where to spend a longer period of time. In a incredible part of the city, walking distance from most attraction in the city centre but not as busy or noisy as other areas of the city. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you may need. Would definitely come back!Only things to notice:- there is no lift (wasn’t an issue for me but worth mentioning)- Wi-Fi is shared (upon agreement) with the neighbour so sometimes it’s not the fastest (again not an issue for me but to be considered if you are remote working) Kozlov2023-01-01Verificata perfect appartment on a quite street! just wonderful! Ela2022-11-02Verificata Great situation to visit Bologna, flat situated in historic center. Confortable bed and space for 2 people. Unfortunately no essential equipment in the kitchen, broken and dirty pan.... washbassin blocked in bathroom and bathromm not really clean. Communication rather difficult with agency, even Luigi was very friendly and reactif ( he had provided us immediatly 2 pans) but we were contacting agency for check in and check out several times without answer. Carlotta Paz2022-09-14Verificata Great flat, Location and Communication. Super nice and really close to the Center. Caroline2022-09-09Verificata Good location, quite area, good bed, complete kitchen. Bologna, often called La Dotta, La Grassa, La Rossa (The Learned, The Fat, The Red), is a city that perfectly blends history, culture, and gastronomy.
Known for hosting the world’s oldest university, it has a rich academic and artistic heritage. Its iconic medieval towers, endless porticoes, and vibrant piazzas give Bologna a unique and welcoming atmosphere.
The city is also a paradise for food lovers, famous for its traditional dishes like tagliatelle al ragù, tortellini, and mortadella.
Whether you’re exploring its historic streets, enjoying an aperitivo in Piazza Maggiore, or discovering its hidden canals, Bologna offers an authentic and unforgettable Italian experience.
The Two Towers (Le Due Torri) are the most iconic symbols of Bologna, standing as a testament to the city’s medieval past.
Built in the 12th century, the Asinelli Tower (97 meters) and the Garisenda Tower (48 meters) once formed part of a much larger network of towers that defined Bologna’s skyline.
The Asinelli Tower, the taller of the two, can be climbed for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
The Garisenda Tower, known for its pronounced lean, was even mentioned by Dante in The Divine Comedy. These historic structures remain a must-visit attraction, embodying Bologna’s rich architectural and cultural heritage.
Bologna is a true paradise for food lovers, earning its nickname La Grassa (The Fat) for its rich culinary tradition.
The city is the birthplace of tagliatelle al ragù, the original version of what the world knows as Bolognese sauce.
Another iconic dish is tortellini, small pasta filled with meat and traditionally served in broth. Bologna is also famous for mortadella, a finely ground pork sausage that has inspired many imitations worldwide.
From fresh handmade pasta to flavorful cured meats and aged Parmigiano Reggiano, Bologna’s cuisine is a delicious journey through authentic Italian flavors
